A Universal Language
Art has a unique ability to transcend language barriers and convey deep emotion in a way words simply cannot.
By inscribing my feelings on paper in a purely visual format, I'm able to present my emotional responses to life's experiences rather than the experiences themselves.
In doing so, I hope you will be able to relate to each piece on a deeper level than would be possible with a traditional, written journal entry.
As you discover my work, I invite you to look inwards.
Be mindful of your initial reaction and the emotions that rise to the surface. If you find a drawing that means something to you, stick with it. Sit with the feelings that are sparked. Relive the memories that come back to life.
Art can be incredibly powerful if we give it a chance to work its magic.
